CONSTRUCTECH
A NEW Integrated six-year pathway magnet program for high school students

ConstrucTECH is a NEW six-year integrated pathway magnet program that students can begin during their freshman year of high school. The program combines coursework, experiential learning, degrees and certifications focused on career occupations in Construction Trades, Supervision and Management. Students who complete the program will earn an industry-recognized Associate Degree in Construction Management from the Community College of Aurora. 

Employers participating in this program will provide mentoring, job shadow experience, student participation in industry projects, internships, apprenticeships and potential future employment opportunities upon graduating from the program. 

The program will launch in Fall 2023 and will be housed at two locations for the next two school years while a permanent location is constructed. Students will begin the six-year program at Gateway High School or Vista PEAK Preparatory while also earning their high school diploma. All interested students will be enrolled at Gateway or Vista PEAK Preparatory in order to participate in the six-year program.
